Where it all began…
Hey I’m Olive, I am the founder of Ikigai Studios.
Here’s a little bit about me and why I’ve created this space.
It all started in 2019 when I decided to quit my job in engineering to become a tattoo artist. I always wanted to get into tattooing, I am so glad I made the decision to! The journey so far has been the most rewarding thing for me and I always feel as though I get so much from every single person I meet everyday. I am incredibly grateful I get to do what I love everyday.

From 2019 to now, I have worked in multiple studios, learning so much from every artist I’ve had the opportunity to meet and work with. All of these studios have been so different, they’ve given me so much insight to the industry.
I have worked hard to create a space that is clean and safe while still feeling comfortable. We want the experience to be yours. We are appointment only which makes the space feel private and calming. I feel the most important thing when getting a tattoo is the ability to safely and comfortably communicate exactly what you’d like to get without any judgement. The experience, in my opinion, should feel like a collaboration between client and artist as the client is the one that takes the piece home forever. I’m so grateful that my clients feel safe and happy enough to be completely honest about what they want and need at our appointments.
